Bramley sits astride the gap between Armley on its North East and Kirkstall on its South West. The original village of Bramley centres around Town Street and is one of the older parts of what became Leeds. Whilst parts of the suburb have become run down and there is significant housing deprivation in some parts it is, overall, like Armley, an improving picture.
Bramley has excellent access to the ring road and the city centre, with plenty of buses and its own train station on the Airedale line. The latter has connections to the City Centre, Pudsey and Bradford. Well stocked with shops at the Bramley Precinct Centre, on Town Street, there are a number of traditional pubs located between Bramley Rugby League Clubs Barley Mow and those on Rodley Hill.
The Housing stock is varied and the rental market is still in its developing stage. Small scale new build developments on brownfield sites have resulted in some modern starter homes being available for both sale and rent and there is a growing number of older types that owners are considering renting out rather than selling outright.
